20 years ago a collection of Tibetans and Tibet activists came together to brainstorm how to make the Tibetan Freedom Movement stronger. Their idea was to set up a network to bring together the power and determination of global Tibet groups in coordination, amplifying our voices, and strengthening our capacity to carry out successful, worldwide campaigns for Tibet.
And thus the International Tibet Network was created. Now 20 years later we have transformed from that small collection of groups into a strong, human rights machine of over 120 Member Groups across the globe, joining together to increase our collective impact in support of Tibet and to fight for its freedom.
