The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will take place against a backdrop of China's Uyghur genocide, the brutal occupation in Tibet, and the severe and escalating crackdown on rights and freedoms in Hong Kong and across China.
Olympic Committee Member, Juan Antonio Samaranch, is responsible for ensuring China is fully prepared for the Beijing 2022 Winter Games and recently, despite all evidence to the contrary, issued a statement praising China as an example to us all.
Tibetan, Uyghur, Southern Mongolian, Hong Kong, Taiwanese, Chinese Democracy, and human rights campaign groups will not remain silent and demand the IOC cancel or move the Games.
TAKE ACTION: Send a message to Juan Samaranch urging him and the IOC to immediately move or cancel Beijing 2022 or risk irreversible damage to the IOC’s reputation.
