President Macron: Help Free Tibetan Tashi Wangchuk

French President Macron will make his first official visit to China on 8 January, just days after Tibetan Tashi Wangchuk's trial starts. Tashi Wangchuk was detained in January 2016 after he featured in a New York Times in which he advocated for the rights of Tibetans to learn and study in their mother tongue.

Free Tibetan Writer - Lobsang Jamyang (Pen-name: Lomik)

Lobsang Jamyang, a young Tibetan writer popularly known by his pen-name Lomik, was sentenced to seven-and-half years in prison on 9 May 2016. There is high concern for his well-being with reports of him being beaten in detention; evidence shows that Tibetans are at a high risk of torture in China’s prisons.

Free Tashi Wangchuk - Students for a Free Tibet

URGENT: Tashi Wangchuk, a 32-year old Tibetan shopkeeper and human rights defender, is to be tried on 4 January 2018 on charges of ‘inciting separatism’. He faces a sentence of up to 15 years.
